The affected directory for Mac is /Library/Application Support/Firefox. But if there's a website that just won't work right for you in Safari, the Quantum rendering engine from Mozilla may iron things out for you. MAC is a desirous gadget for every one and once you own a Mac, the personalization process takes the front seat. I have a Mac and I don’t see the /.mozilla/firefox directory at all. Compatibility: In terms of compatibility, both Firefox and Safari (and Chrome, for that matter) are pretty compliant with web standards.Privacy: Firefox's private browsing feature goes beyond just not recording your history, and will actually prevent websites from tracking you.If freedom and privacy are important to you, Firefox's development process is more transparent, and there isn't a for-profit company making decisions about it. Freedom: The Mozilla Corporation operates as a not-for-profit, and Firefox itself is open source software. It also has a larger portion of the market (second only to Chrome), so developers are more likely to consider Firefox for their extensions than Safari. One example is extensions: the Firefox extension library has been around for longer, and likely has a wider selection of add-ons. While both are mature products, Firefox may have an upper hand in some areas. Some old icons might still be unavailabe while I work to get as many icons. Everything has been secured and is now safe to upload icons.

This is how the trend is going at Mac Big Sur, I hope the design team understands this and does the needful. Step 8: Select the extension icon, and it will sync the Safari Bookmarks to Firefox. While it does make it look smaller, it's still big enough.

I understand that people have concerns over making the Firefox logo small by adapting to such design, but when you look at other browsers such as Brave, Chrome and Edge, it seems to be very fine. I think the design team needs to look over this again. Discord, Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge are all thrid-parties and they are not an apple product (keep in mind that this is just to mention a few). I don't think so, so many 3rd party applications have adapted to this design to suit Big Sur. Still almost no other non-Apple app that is installed on my device adopted the icon style after so many months. At 1Password, we believe that the less information we know about you, the better. The data you save is encrypted and inaccessible to us, including so called metadata like titles, website URLs, tags, and custom icons. Regardless, I think that as more time passes and more apps adopt the guidelines 1Password was designed with a deep respect for your privacy. I’m not sure why this occurs, but it’s some form of corruption to the dock settings file, so you’ll need to reset it. For example, the Firefox icon might disappear and you’ll see a blank space with just the Firefox name instead of the icon. (In reply to Sören Hentzschel from comment #28) Sometimes certain icons in your Mac dock will just disappear.
